Apple retira la aplicación ‘Agita al bebé’ de su tienda ‘online’
El grupo estadounidense Apple ha retirado de repente de su tienda ‘online’ para iPhone la aplicación llamada ‘Agitar el bebé’, que pedÃa a los usuarios agitar el teléfono para cesar el llanto de un bebé virtual.
La aplicación, disponible desde el lunes en la tienda ‘online’ de Apple, costaba 99 centavos por descarga. ConsistÃa en que, después de haber sido suficientemente sacudido, el ‘bebé’ deja de hacer ruido y dos grandes cruces rojas le cubren los ojos. La Fundación ‘Sarah Jane Brain’, grupo con sede en Nueva York que lucha contra el daño cerebral causado por el sÃndrome del ‘bebé sacudido’ ha condenado enérgicamente esta aplicación y ha exigido “una disculpa a los familiares de las vÃctimas de este sÃndrome y a los que lo sobreviven”. Decenas de miles de aplicacionse de iPhone han sido creadas por diseñadores independientes de Apple, pero el grupo tiene el control de los que son vendidos en la tienda ‘online’. La llegada de esta aplicación se produce cuando el gigante se prepara para celebrar la milmillonésima descarga de la tienda.
