Gmail ya soporta archivos PowerPoint y TIFFs
El servicio de correo web de Google acaba de anunciar una nueva adición en cuanto a compatibilidad con nuevos formatos. A partir de ahora Gmail podrá abrir presentaciones de PowerPoint así como imágenes .TIFF.
El nuevo servicio hace que Gmail pueda abrir archivos .PPT, desde el visor de PDF de Google que evita la necesidad de tener instalado Adobe Flash gracias al uso de HTML ofreciendo la opción al usuario de hacer zoom, imprimir, previsualizar páginas y buscar en ellas. El siguiente nuevo punto es la previsualización de archivos TIFF, tal cual ya funcionaba con JPEGs, PNGs, y otros. Hasta el momento con archivos TIFF sólo se podía ver un pequeño icono. La compañía hace uso de Google Docs para según qué documentos adjuntos, pudiendo ver y editar las presentaciones PPT recibidas.

I have been reading your blog for the last few hours, and it all has been very informative and well written.
