XEROX ofrece impresiones de alta calidad a color.

Corporación Xerox presenta al mercado su nueva serie Xerox WorkCentre® 7400, que promete impresiones a color de una calidad de máximo nivel, reducción de costos, consumo de energía y espacio. Los equipos multifuncionales, entre los cuales se incluyen las WorkCentre 7425, 7428 y 7435, ofrecen las opciones de scan to e-mail, fax y PDF, y calidad de imagen con resolución de 1200 x 2400 dpi.
El vicepresidente del Grupo de Productos de Oficina para las Operaciones de Xerox en los Mercados en Desarrollo. Roy Harding, expresa: “Nuestra nueva serie WorkCentre prueba que las oficinas pueden obtener mucho más de una multifuncional que solamente impresiones y copias”.
La serie WorkCentre 7400 ofrece varias herramientas incorporadas tales como Auditron y Xerox Standard Accounting, que regulan y hacen un seguimiento del uso del color, dando a los usuarios la posibilidad de manejar los costos eligiendo cuándo, dónde y cuánto color necesitan.
Con velocidades de impresión y copiado de hasta 35 páginas por minuto para color y blanco y negro, una capacidad total de papel de más de 5000 hojas y capacidades de terminación tales como producción de libritos y perforación de agujeros, la serie WorkCentre 7400 ofrece todas las herramientas que los usuarios necesitan en entornos dinámicos de trabajo.
Harding también dice que “estos dispositivos están cargados de prestaciones para simplificar el trabajo y crear documentos profesionales a color que ayuden a optimizar el retorno sobre la inversión”.
Utilizando el toner de emulsión agregada de alto grado (Emulsion Aggregate High Grade, EA-HG) de Xerox, que tiene partículas más pequeñas y consistentes, las impresoras multifunción entregan una producción vibrante con una calidad de imagen más fina y con líneas más suaves.
Por otra parte y ajustada a la norma Energy Star, la serie WorkCentre sólo consume dos vatios de potencia en el modo de descanso, lo cual es significativamente menos que la mayoría de los productos láser color. Las impresoras multifuncionales también son los primeros dispositivos que sólo consumen dos vatios de potencia en el modo de descanso, lo cual es significativamente menos que la mayoría de los productos láser color.
