Televisa planea comprar parte de Nextel México.
El gigante de medios mexicano Grupo Televisa está detrás de una participación de la operadora de telefonía inalámbrica Nextel en México, dijo el lunes una fuente del ente antimonopolios.
La jugada sería un nuevo eslabón en la cadena de compras y asociaciones que se está dando en el mercado de las telecomunicaciones mexicano, donde los operadores buscan seducir a los clientes con servicios integrados.
“Ya fue notificada la Comisión de una solicitud de Televisa para adquirir parte de las operaciones de Nextel en México”, dijo a Reuters la fuente de la Comisión Federal de Competencia (CFC), que pidió no ser identificada y no pudo aclarar el porcentaje que Televisa busca comprar.
Pero medios locales especulan que podría pagar unos 1.000 millones de dólares por una participación de entre un 20 y un 30 por ciento en Nextel México.
Televisa tiene tres empresas de cable lideradas por Cablevisión, y el año pasado se alió con Megacable, con sede en la ciudad de Guadalajara, en el oeste del país, para ofrecer paquetes de triple play -telefonía fija, TV por cable y acceso a Internet- bajo la marca YOO.
El siguiente paso en la industria es incorporar a esos paquetes telefonía inalámbrica, según especialistas.
América Móvil, la mayor empresa móvil de Latinoamérica y propiedad del magnate mexicano Carlos Slim, ya lanzó una oferta en enero para controlar sus empresas hermanas Telmex y Telint a fin de sumar sus servicios celulares a los de TV de paga, telefonía fija e Internet.
Televisa busca competir en el mercado inalámbrico y enfrentarse a América Móvil, líder indiscutible del mercado.
México lanzó en enero las bases para unas esperadas subastas de frecuencias de telefonía móvil, las primeras importantes en al menos una década, que se espera sean adjudicadas este año.
Televisa había dicho que podría apuntarse en el proceso, al igual que Nextel México, propiedad de NII Holdings, que además opera en Brasil, Argentina, Perú y Chile.

I’ve been making my living on the net since 2003. I remember the first site I made, and when I made my first buck. lol I was excited!!! I’ve recently found a new way to get tons of visitors to my sites for almost free. I use these cheap visitors to sell Amazon goods to and am doing really well with it.
