Cenit y RedClara invitan a crear comunidades de investigadores para América Latina.
Un grupo de investigadores de la Red Académica Nacional (Reacciun), participó en un taller informativo ofrecido por la Corporación Latinoamericana de Redes Avanzadas (Clara), con la finalidad de conocer los proyectos de investigación que serán financiados por este organismo, como parte del programa América Latina Interconectada con Europa (Alice2).
La apertura del evento correspondió a la presidenta de la Fundación Centro Nacional de Innovación Tecnológica (Cenit), Laura Trejo, institución administradora de Reacciun, quien indicó que la intención es que los investigadores se incorporen a los proyectos que en materia de salud, medicina y educación adelantan comunidades de investigadores en otros países de la región.
Por su parte, Benjamín Marticorena, gerente de relaciones académicas de RedClara, que integra a 14 países de la región, presentó las áreas de investigación más importantes e invitó a los investigadores asistentes, y a quienes participaron vía video-conferencia, a crear comunidades con sus pares latinoamericanos a través de estas redes avanzadas, destaca una nota de prensa del Cenit.
De acuerdo con un sondeo previo, los temas de mayor relevancia para los investigadores están vinculados a Ciencias Sociales, Biotecnología, Astronomía, Alimentación, Educación, Desastres Naturales, Tecnología Energética, Agua, Patrimonios Culturales, Tecnología de Materiales y Tecnologías de Comunicación e Información (E-Gobierno, Mallas, Bibliotecas Virtuales).
Señaló que aquellas comunidades constituidas con investigadores procedentes de cinco países latinoamericanos que ganen concurso de postulación recibirán incentivos con financiamiento internacional para que preparen proyectos dentro de estas 14 áreas de interés.
Marticorena anunció que el 19 de marzo próximo México ofrecerá una video-conferencia instruccional para investigadores jóvenes de los países latinoamericanos, con el propósito de explicar la forma de elaborar proyectos entre varios países, de manera que logren el financiamiento mediante concursos internacionales.
